Advertising Platform:

The sense of urgency associated with live events makes it easy to bill for live broadcasts. can provide a completely integrated advertising solution incorporating pay-per-view and subscriptions that viewers can purchase from within the video player. Since the purchaser does not have to exit the viewer to make a purchase, this can lead to high levels of conversion.

Advertisements may be attached to content to generate revenue based on the number of viewers. Although not directly handled in the platform, public APIs are available to help integrate advertisements into a third party video player. Custom pre- and post-video advertisements can also be incorporated in the archived VOD content.

When developing the video channel page we can also custom configure a variety of on-page advertisements including static and banner advertising formats. By recruiting a sponsor for both in-video and on page advertising there is the potential to recoup the entire cost of the streaming event.

Analytics & Reporting:

Data gathered for analytics can be specified for certain time periods. Analytics are also tied to specific regions, allowing for both an overall picture and also to understand how content is performing in specific countries. Through the channel manager, analytics may be chosen for specific channels to gauge how certain content is performing. This can be broken down by live streams and also previously recorded content such as playlists and video on demand.

The data derived from the analytics platform can be exported as CSV (comma-separated value) files from which detailed reports may be compiled. If the advertising functionality is in use the analytics can also provide revenue information making it easy to calculate and track sales.
